5. John Terry - 85

Captain fantastic John Terry is back with a bang. 

He may be as slow as Per Mertesacker nowadays, but after a stellar performance in the Premier League last year, Terry has earned himself a shiny new 85 card. He's not one to be beaten in the air and remains ever reliable - even if the hints are there that this could be his last season at Chelsea.

Terry may leave a little to be desired for most though this year, as there are a number of other defenders with better all-round statistics.
