If you're like me, you'll like to deploy a central midfielder with a high defensive work rate. And while he's not the most impressive player in the world, Fernando ticks that box... and then some.

The Brazilian is by no means flash, and he likely won't score a wonder-goal for you when you're 4-3 down in the 90th minute. 

But he'll put himself about and defend. There's always a place for his type around here.
