Thiago Silva is the best-rated defender on FIFA 16, and with good reason. He's super-reliable and essentially doesn't have a weakness. No matter what kind of team you go for, if there's a way to fit in the Brazilian into your Ultimate Team, you'll find it.

If you can afford him, obviously.

Silva's new card - bumped from 87 to 88 - is excellent, but that defensive rating of 90 is huge. Get him!
