With the emergence of Carl Jenkinson and Aaron Cresswell at West Ham, Joey O'Brien has seen his playing time limited. A versatile player, he used to be integral at West Ham when they were promoted through his ability to fill in at LB/RB/CM and even CB at times. His lack of game time would have taken its toll.
