Lionel Messi, simply put, could be the single greatest footballer in history. His precision, his skill, his determination and his sheer game-changing prowess are all virtually unparalleled. He's efficient too, and while he bagged slightly fewer league goals (43 in 38) than Ronaldo, he did so with a far superior shots to goals ratio. Messi's individual talent and statistics are phenomenal alone, though he's back it all up with solid proof of every trophy there is to win, barring the World Cup, the crown jewel he's yet to haul Argentina up to. Still, he's bound to be great fun to use on FIFA 16 yet again and fully deserves the top ranking. Suggested Rating: 94
