83 is possibly a little on the low end for the highly rated midfielder, but you can't blame EA Sports for being a little cautious. He's new to the Premier League and there's no saying his form will necessarily transfer across to the league right away.

Still, his passing and vision are great (as reflected in last year's ratings), and while he wont' necessarily be the fastest or the most attacking player in the game, he'll be a solid foundation in the middle.
