9. CB - Michal Pazdan (Legia Warszawa)

Considered a national treasure in Poland, Pazdan is the center-piece of both, his club and his national team. Pazdan is neither quick nor particularly strong, but he is a relentless competitor, as proven by his 92 Aggression. With Jumping rated at 90 he is a threat on the defensive as well as the offensive end.

While the 76 rating doesn't look that impressive, it's fairly easy to improve Pazdan, as some work on his 80-rated Marking and 73-rated Interceptions will be enough to make him a solid starting defender. The only issues you might have with him stem from either his Heading (69) or his age (29). Even though you might consider him a short-term investment, Pazdan is not expensive and makes an impact almost immediately.
