The aforementioned capture of Sead Kolašinac on a free transfer from Schalke was a deceptively sweet piece of business by Arsenal over the Summer, if a little uninspiring to fans hoping for Wenger to spend big. As a left back with pace to burn, he's faster and more physical than Nacho Monreal. The Spaniard may still be the preferred option due to his better defensive stats.

Whatever you choose, it's easy to see that Kolašinac is a better player than the outgoing Kieran Gibbs, and he adds depth to the squad. Over on the right, you can pick between Héctor Bellerín, Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson, although it's the lightning quick Bellerín you'll want bombing up the flanks. As for Jenkinson, punt him once his loan at Birmingham expires.

Arsenal have 2 players for each position here, and that's smart. Bellerín has improved 2 points overall since FIFA 17, but Kolašinac has gone down a point from 81 to 80. The epitome of a squad player on the fringes is Debuchy. The ex-Newcastle man hasn't been a hit at Arsenal, and he probably won't play a big part in your plans in-game either.
