Hold onto your hats (or scarves), because Chelsea's intimidating, strong squad continues when isolating the central midfield positions. It appears Antonio Conte recognises just how important Leicester's domination of the central areas was a few seasons ago, because he now has ex-Foxes N'Golo Kanté and Danny Drinkwater on his books. Both are great players, although the latter's 79 rating is dwarfed by Kanté's 87.

That's a jump of 6 points (yes, six) for the Frenchman, and his leap is backed up by former Monaco man Tiémoué Bakayoko's improvement of 4 from 78 to 82. Meanwhile, predictably consistent veteran Cesc Fàbregas maintains his giant 86 rating. Even if you play 3 in the middle of the park, you have options at Stamford Bridge.

61-rated player Jordan Houghton begins away on loan to Doncaster Rovers, and he seems like the kind of youngster most FIFA players discard instantly anyway. He's 21 and still isn't at least a 75 rating? Better get rid of him then. We jest, but that may be the case this year when most analyse the midfield at Chelsea.
