2. The Journey 3 Teaser Doesn't Reveal Much
In the teaser for The Journey's third chapter, don't expect to be seeing an awful lot of what the branching storyline has to offer. Here, you'll see Alex Hunter watch a Champions League draw, waffle away with some pals and agents, play a quick training drill with his new Real Madrid teammates, play 30 mins against Man Utd in Europe then answer one media question.
That's literally it, and if it sounds like a lot then apologies, because it isn't.
OK, so this is a demo (blah blah blah), but EA did a naff job of revealing why those who have followed Hunter's tale should be excited. There's no hint at the role Danny Williams or Alex's step-sister Kim will play in the narrative either, and newbies will be left wondering what all the fuss is about.
This teaser makes The Journey look like Be A Pro with some cut scenes added in, when it can be so much more than that. No talk of customisation, no focus on the three-pronged story and zero time to get to grips before it's done.
