8. Florentino (Benfica)

You may have never heard of Florentino, but he’s guaranteed to become a big-time player as FIFA 20’s Career Mode progresses.

Still just 19 years of age, the Benfica youngster isn’t likely to set you back too much when it comes to a fee, and his starting rating of 76 means he could realistically be in and around your match day squad right away.

Capable of playing as a CDM, CM or even as a CB, the young Portuguese is strong, aggressive, has great defensive attributes, and is most certainly comfortable on the ball. With a high defensive workrate, Florentino offers protection and a safety net for your attacking players to do what they do best – all while he keeps things nice and guarded at the back.

As Career Mode unravels, the Benfica player has the potential to hit an 87 or 88 overall rating.
