FIFA 21: 10 Players Who Will Be Totally Overrated

3. Antoine Griezmann

This may seem an unfair inclusion, but hear me out.

Antoine Griezmann has seemed a frustrated man in his early life as a Barcelona player.

Brought in following the high-profile failures of Coutinho and Dembele to replace Neymar, Griezmann looks set to join them as another one that just didn't work out.

The Frenchman seemed the perfect fit for Barcelona. He has spent his entire career in La Liga and had regularly been the bane of opposition defenders with his tricky feet and calm head in front of goal.

Griezmann currently sits on 8 goals and 4 assists in the league after 26 games. This is by no means bad and is still a solid contribution, but there are a couple of other factors to consider with these figures.

Firstly is that of his 12 goal and assist contributions, 11 came before New Year, which means he has contributed just a solitary goal since January despite playing every single game.

Secondly, due to this large dip since the beginning of the year, Griezmann is on track for his first season with fewer than 20 goals and assists in the league since 2012/13 when he was still at Real Sociedad.

Griezmann is clearly an immensely talented player, but certainly not deserving of retaining his 89 rating.
