This won't bother some, to be fair.

FIFA 21's matches always play out in front of a packed stadium of screaming, cheering and happy fans. There's no bleak reminder of the empty arenas seen on television mid-pandemic - again, some may point out that EA should always celebrate normal football culture rather than showing off empty stands.

However, it'd be nice to have the option for the sake of realism. The same could be said of the ever-controversial VAR. It's totally absent in FIFA, and that's slightly concerning for a product that aims to fully replicate the real-life stuff. EA surely have to bring in some VAR good/badness at some point.

If they're worried about how to implement it, then they could be upfront about experimentation and let players switch it off entirely. These minor touches would go a long way to making FIFA an even more realistic experience.
