In 2013, Ultimate Team began to take over as FIFA's main game mode. The menus were great and a lot more organised to previous years. Coin selling was now a huge thing, meaning players were unrestricted and could easily build their Ultimate Team.

The biggest change to this year's game though was the introduction of online-seasons. Players no longer had to play online single matches as they could now climb up the divisions and prove themselves. This simple addition added a competitive edge to an already great game.
