FIFA World Cup 2014: 10 Things It Does Better Than FIFA 14

6. Goalkeepers Are Better

If anything on FIFA was certain to send you into a Hulk style rage fit, it was the goalkeepers. Those individuals between the sticks that were seemingly absent-minded and had no idea how to use their hands, especially when confronted with bobbling low shots listing lazily to the left. They were terrible, but notice how we used the word 'were?' That's because the goalkeepers on World Cup 2014 are much better than their counterparts on FIFA 14, who were guilty of some horrendous errors that led to controllers being hurled across the room worldwide. They're faster, more agile, braver and actually do what you tell them you. Plus, there's no need to worry about your keeper randomly appearing at the halfway line. The goalkeeper issue should have been resolved years ago but EA struggled to find the balance, finally giving us goalkeepers that are decent, yet not too good to save everything. The balance is perfect, the goalkeepers know what they are doing and more importantly, the fans are happy.
