1. How Many Instalments Will It Be? What's The Roadmap?

No one knows.

Square Enix have said that the story will continue and "part two" is in active development, but FF7R ends on a "to be continued" screen, and that's that.

Yes, there's enough to satisfy and yes I'd still recommend the Remake overall, but at time of writing, they haven't clarified ANYTHING about their upcoming plans.

How many instalments are needed to tell the story overall, what the pricing will be like, when they'll release, whether FF7R will act as a "platform" to plug chapters into... it's all up in the air.

If you're buying FF7 Remake, you're buying a satisfying enough story with a really insane ending, but it's not the end of Final Fantasy VII.
