9. What "Crippling Damage" Is & Why It Matters

A supremely effective thing to specialise in once you start unlocking specific buffs on your weapon cores, "Crippling Damage" refers to the parts of bosses that are listed separately.

Tails, horns, arms, tendrils - all these things can be "Crippled" in their respective fights, and it'll open the boss themselves up to a TON more damage.

Make a point of speccing towards Crippling damage with one of your ranged characters - or using ranged materia and MP damage boosts - then you can picking bosses apart with ease.
