Flick Golf is a great little game where the objective is to get the ball into the target by flicking it, pretty much in Paper Toss fashion. The game has been out for IOS devices since early 2011 and has a spin off called Flick Golf: Extreme! and is 69p/$0.99 for a limited time only. But I had to wait a little longer for , the creators of Flick Golf, to release it on Android the pricing is exactly the same, which is always encouraging to see(69p/$0.99). The game as a whole is simple enough, your ball is on a tee and you simply swipe your finger towards the flag surrounded by a target. Not very difficult you might think, but let's not be too hasty. The addition of more wind in later levels of Quickshot, World Tour and the Quickshot Pro modes. Quickshot and Quickshot Pro are almost identical play modes. You get 60 seconds on the clock to score as many points, by hitting the target, as possible. Get it in the center circle to gain 3 extra seconds or get a hole in one to get 10 extra seconds. These are valuable, especially later in the levels, when you need big scores to unlock the next course or level. World Tour mode, on the other hand, is similar but completely different. You play 9 holes, one shot a hole, but instead of having to score over a certian threshold of points, you must get as many gold trophies as possible to unlock the harder courses. A great little feature of Flick Golf is the ability to spin and swerve your ball both whilst it is in flight and after it has hit the ground. All in all, Flick Golf is a great game for killing 10 minutes or a couple of hours. Even if you aren't a fan of golfing games, or you are not a consumer of the sports genre, this particular game puts a different spin on the genre. I personally would class it as a Sports/Puzzle game. This is a must play and if you don't like it you've only lost the cost of a can of coke. Certainly worth a try. Android Version: http://bit.ly/r1U4jJ IOS Version: http://bit.ly/qD21VY
