You know what you're getting with players like Sagna. He might be a touch on the older side, but he has masses of experience and was still considered good enough to make 16 appearances for Man City last season.

He also comes with strong statistics at the start of the game, particularly in terms of his defensive ability. It's probably best to play him as a centre-half, rather than asking him to get up and down the flank (his Pace and Acceleration are not what they were), but for nothing, he's a no brainer.
