Game Of Thrones: Casting House Forrester From The Telltale Series
If the video game's first family made their way to the TV show, here's who would play them.
It's been some time since season one of Telltale's Game of Thrones was released, but the impact it left on fans of the TV series and gamers alike is far from forgotten.
While the game does feature appearances by characters that fans of the HBO series will know and love, such as Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, its main focus is on all-new heroes and villains, and in particular House Forrester.
The game features numerous different subplots, all of which can be traced back in some way or another to Ironrath, the Forrester's domicile. And as can be expected from a family consisting of two parents, four sons, and two daughters, there are some great characters who carry the Forrester name... and as can be expected from Game of Thrones, very few of them exactly get a happy ending.
That said, it's a bit of a shame that this wildly entertaining lot will likely never make their way to Game of Thrones proper. However, if the Forresters had been added to the television show, these are the top pics of actors who would best be suited to play each respective role.
9. Honorable Mention: Ewan McGregor - Rickard Morgryn

While not actually a member of House Forrester, Rickard Morgryn plans to marry into the family in order to take advantage of their hold on the ironwood market and, depending on the player's decisions, it looks like he may very well get his wish following season one of the Telltale series.
The reason he's so worth mentioning is due to just how much he looks like Ewan McGregor, who is most famous for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels. In fact, it genuinely looks as though Telltale was making a Star Wars game, it was scrapped, but they kept Obi-Wan's Episode III character model and reused it.
In addition, he could easily still fit the role, as he hasn't exactly aged a whole lot since Revenge of the Sith. Plus, McGregor has proven time and time again that he is capable of playing any sort of character effectively, from a Jedi knight, to a heroin addict in Trainspotting, to two separate characters in Fargo. And given his Scottish heritage, he'd be right at home in Game of Thrones.
If Morgryn was to be added to the television show, literally no one except McGregor should be cast.
