2. The Original Set-Pieces Are Excellent

The Coalition

While so much of the campaign indeed leans back on the tried and tested shoot 'em up sequences of previous titles, there are a few extremely entertaining, original set-pieces that tease The Coalition's potential to seriously shake up the series.

While a motorcycle chase sequence is fun but basically on-rails, other scenes really elevate the cinematic feel, especially one named "The Great Escape" which won't soon be forgotten by any fan of the series.

When the scale and freneticism ramps up, this truly is a marvel of a game, even somewhat evoking the same jaw-dropping feel of something like Uncharted 4.

These moments are gems in the rough ultimately, but when they show up, they can rouse player interest significantly. More of this next time please, guys.
