20. Atreus' Sash Is Kratos' Old Loincloth

While on the subject of clothing, there is another nice little detail for Atreus. Before encountering Brok and getting the opportunity to upgrade Atreus’ armour, you’ll notice that around his waist, there is a patterned sash in the same colours of Kratos’ Greek outfit.

This bears a strong resemblance to the loincloth that Kratos wore throughout the previous God of War games, an item of clothing clearly not suitable for the harsher environments of Midgard.

Instead, it acts as a nice accessory for Atreus’ look, a possible momentum of his father to have at all times. He has his mother’s knife after all.

Now he has a piece of both of them.
