God Of War - Ranking Every Game From Worst To Best

7. God Of War: Betrayal

No surprises here.

This one almost feels like cheating. To be completely fair, despite only being a phone game, Betrayal actually had quite favourable reviews and matched the God of War series pretty well. That doesn't stop it from being the worst the series has to offer, though.

In Betrayal's defence, it actually features a completely unique story that is set in between the events of Ghost of Sparta and God of War 2, with Kratos now being the God of War.

Betrayal also keeps the typical gameplay beats of the God of War series with platforming, combos and the Chains of Olympus as Kratos' main weapon. Considering it managed to win a few awards, it should be pretty clear that Betrayal is actually pretty good. Still, it can never really hope to live up to the rest of the series.

If a surprisingly good phone game is the absolute worst your series has to offer, you're certainly not doing a bad job.
