GTA V: 5 Reasons To Be Excited

4. Randomised Dynamic Missions

In the November 8th issue of Game Informer last year, Rockstar announced the inclusion of €œrandomised dynamic missions€ in GTA V. Then, the developers provided certain examples of these random encounters, as they are to be known, such as encountering a broken down car or a hitchhiker on the side of the road. It was then stated that players could approach the situation, which €œmay extend this ordinary occurrence on to something much more€. Red Dead Redemption and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim incorporated a similar feature and in each of those games the feature made exploring the wilderness a much more unpredictable pastime. In previous GTA titles, you could walk up and down a road or countryside for hours at a time and experience nothing new, as lifeless, un-interactive AI pedestrians file past you in a state of drudged, scripted conformity. That is now a thing of the past.
