Sometimes we get bored. Sometimes we want to see how high we can fall and sometimes we just want to cook a grenade in our hands. However, this would be spoiled if we didnt recover, if there was nothing of us to put back together. No fun at all. Rotterdam Tower was made for jumping off, not strictly true but proves a point. Nikos scream was practically recorded just for this moment of expectant death. Any time under a day is not suffice for recovery, but adds to why we love the unrealistic health system.
