4. Enhanced Director Mode On Consoles From The Get-Go
Grand Theft Auto fans were only introduced to the idea of 'Director Mode' on consoles when Rockstar released it as part of the Freemode Events Update in September, 2015. This means players have only had a few months to mess around with all the tools at their disposal, and it needs to be available out of the box come GTA VI. Originally, Director Mode was a PC-only feature for the series. The main hook of the feature is being able to craft individual stories in the GTA universe, almost like creating a mini-slice of a Grand Theft Auto game. That's incredibly fun sounding, imagine people's faces had this been revealed years ago. Previously, gamers would have salivated over customising the GTA experience like that. Admittedly, some ended up disappointed by the mode, feeling it didn't quite offer anything outside of capturing random events. For GTA VI, it should be expanded and enhanced into something bigger and better. The word 'director' hints at being in control, so that's something people will - quite rightly - expect. Imagine being able to create your own missions, or even entire set pieces.
