GTA VI: 10 Things It Must Learn From Vice City

What can Rockstar re-learn from arguably the best instalment in the whole franchise?

Grand Theft Auto fans are easy to spot across a crowded nightclub. They're the ones who disappear into a wistful trance whenever a song from the 80s comes on. If everyone else is dancing to Fascination by The Human League, they'll stand with a knowing smile on their faces and dream about the first time they heard it driving down Vice City's Ocean Drive after smashing someone€™s car to bits with a golf club. Best to leave them alone to their reminiscences. They€™ll come back to the disappointingly drab real world in due course. For those of you who haven't played this iteration of Rockstar's seminal crime series, imagine every 80s gangster movie played out by a stellar cast with a really tightly focused storyline. Put it together with that inimitable GTA sense of humour and you've got Vice City, many people's highlight of the series so far and will send readers scrambling for long forgotten Playstation 2s. Now that GTA V has finally released its Heists update and with it, probably the last major update to the game, all eyes are on what Rockstar plan to do with the next instalment of the series and what lessons it can learn from the city of Vice.
