7. Character Creation, House Sorting And Unique House Quests

According to the latest leak, the mysterious, long-rumoured Harry Potter RPG will include a customisable character. In the leak, the person who posted states 'it's not super-detailed, but the models look good.'

You're allowed to choose between male or female at the start of the game, and your character is a 5th year student at Hogwarts who transfers for an undisclosed reason from another wizarding school. This will be revealed in the game as a major plot point.

From your 5th year, you'll play all the way through from this year to your graduation at Hogwarts, and possibly even your first year afterwards, where you'll begin a career as an Auror.

You can also decide, for instance, if your character is muggle-born, pure blood or half blood, with these decisions providing unique dialogue and quest options. The decisions you make for your character during creation, in turn, have a direct effect on which house you get sorted into upon your arrival at Hogwarts.

Each house is said to have its own unique quest line. Despite this, you can't 'side with the villain', but there plenty of chances to make morally questionable choices.

The leak also reveals that there are 'major moments in the game that can result in the deaths of important characters, based on your decisions.'

On top of that, there's romance options, with the ability to 'actually marry someone', and they will be your spouse in the endgame. There are also companions who will be able to go on missions with you, and you can command them.
