Hitman 2 Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs
Fun but frustrating.
The seventh entry into the Hitman franchise - confusingly titled Hitman 2, serving as a sequel to 2016's reboot - is out now, and...it's pretty much exactly what you expect.
Broadly well-reviewed by the gaming press so far, Hitman 2 is a game both highly entertaining and unmistakably infuriating in almost equal measure.
Long-time fans of the series will be effortlessly pulled in by the deliciously enjoyable sandbox gameplay, though it's tough to argue with the game's many technical and narrative shortcomings.
