3. There's A Pretty Unique Photo Mode

The one thing literally every single 3D video game needs. Horizon comes complete with a thoroughly well thought-out Photo Mode, letting you pilot an external camera around Aloy, before framing up all manner of fancy shots.

You're free to apply the standard array of filters and depth of field options, but you can also remove Aloy from the shot if you're wanting to focus on the environment, or - better yet - adjust the time of day with an active slider, resulting in the environment shifting accordingly as you do so.

It's a really, really impressive visual flourish, and whilst changing the day obviously doesn't affect gameplay once you leave this mode, it's going to help Horizon make its mark as one of the best-looking video games of the generation so far.
