Thanks to a leaked list - taken from data-mining the mobile version - we now have a potential look at Injustice 2's entire roster. Whilst many of the characters are great additions, several fan-favourites are missing in action.

Naturally, this leaves the door open for DLC, and for now, nine new characters have been confirmed to come after the game's release. Who could they be?

Seeing the success of Mortal Kombat X's guest characters, it's safe to assume at least one third party individual will appear alongside several popular DC stalwarts, and - following suit after the first Injustice - most likely an appearance from a member of NetherRealm's iconic roster, too.

10. Killer Croc

DC

Following on from his recent appearance in Suicide Squad, Killer Croc would act as another heavy brawler, playing similarly to Swamp Thing or Atrocitus.

Great for the other characters to bounce off of - especially if he acts similarly to how he did in Suicide Squad - Croc needs genuine feelings and humour to make him much more interesting than he's previously been portrayed in franchises like Batman's Arkham series.

Of course, Croc's true potential comes from his gameplay possibilities, where he'd obviously rely mostly on heavy attacks, incorporating much of the same playing style as Doomsday or Bane.

An interesting twist would be for Croc to be bulletproof, making it so he doesn't stagger to projectile attacks. Although this may seem overpowered - rendering characters like Deadshot useless - it would make him a much more unique character to play as, and could be balanced by making it a temporary effect. Besides this, Croc could incorporate sewer grates to travel around faster, before giving him some brutal grab attacks.

Overall, Killer Croc has a wide range of possibilities for how he plays, and should get the chance to show his strength.
