5. John Constantine

Constantine managed to get popular with DC fans after getting his own short-lived TV show. With his range of magical abilities and British wit, Constantine would fit right in with the Injustice roster.

John Constantine is one of the most popular antiheroes in the DC universe, his personality being wholly unique, as no other character is as cynical as him, alongside retaining knowledge of pretty much everything.

He's actually already appeared in the Injustice comics, working together with Batman and Zatanna to protect his daughter, Rose. It would be great to see him to continue his alliance with Batman and disdain for Superman, as well as tying up the loose plot threads that the comic introduced.

For his fighting style, Constantine could implement his magical spells and sigils. Constantine could produce sigils to protect himself from different types of harm, having specific sigils for specific types of damage.

Whilst his hand-to-hand isn't very developed, that would be the point. Constantine would edge out his enemies with quick thinking, traps, tricks and magic. He might be one of the most complicated characters to use, and that would make him even more enticing.

Constantine also breaks the fourth wall on occasion - perfect for pre-match banter.
