14. Firestorm

Another fan-requested character making their debut, Firestorm's existence as the powerful meld between Ronnie Raymond and Professor Victor Stein give him both brains and brawn.

In-game that translates as a fearsomely fast and destructive moveset, the vast majority of attacks either launching the opponent or sending them flying to the other side of the screen.

That said, Firestorm's calm demeanour factors nicely into his constant barrage of fireballs and charge moves, letting you close the distance and continue punishment no matter what.
