Kingdom Hearts 4: 12 Disney & Pixar Worlds We Want To See
12. The Jungle Book
The Jungle Book is one of Disney Animation's oldest films that has yet to appear in the series in some way, either as a world all its own or through the appearance of some of its characters. The film itself is still a beloved classic, and considering Disney's own live-action remake from 2016 made a boatload of money, it's clear that the studio's iteration of Rudyard Kipling's book is still dear to many.
It's also no secret that The Jungle Book was intended to be a part of Birth by Sleep, with a world that was being designed only to ultimately be cut during production. Unfortunately, after almost a decade since that game's release, the movie hasn't resurfaced elsewhere in the series, meaning we're long overdue to see Sora and the gang - or any other playable protagonist - drop in on Mowgli's world.
With Tarzan's lush jungle long gone from the franchise, The Jungle Book could fill its colourful void, and it'd be great to see and interact with characters like Baloo, King Louie, Kaa, and the villainous Shere Khan.
No matter how it's handled, The Jungle Book would be a welcome addition to the series, whose mere inclusion would undoubtedly make fans who have wanted to see older films get their due very happy.
