11. Use "Enhanced Listen Mode" To Find All Collectibles

Sick of rubbing Ellie up against the sides of the environment, mashing triangle and hoping for the best?

Well, although it makes zero sense contextually, Naughty Dog have included a "ping the map" button, like scores of other triple-A titles.

Here though, it's totally optional.

To enable, hop into the Accessibility settings, then "Navigation and Traversal", and hit "Enhanced Listen Mode".

Now when holding R1, you can hit circle to ping for items, and square for enemies. There are even additional options for scan size and how fast the radius completes, meaning if you're going for a Platinum trophy, just turn this on and mop everything up.
