Leak Confirms EVERY Super Mario Coming To Nintendo Switch In 2020
Super Mario Galaxy on Switch. Finally.
The same reputable outlet that correctly predicted the launch week of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is back with some VERY good news for Nintendo fans.
According to various sources, Nintendo is planning on celebrating the 35th anniversary of their poster-boy's debut game, Super Mario, by releasing remastered versions of the Italian plumber's greatest hits.
Among these is set to be something of a sequel to Super Mario Allstars, the original collection featuring remastered versions of Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, plus Super Mario World, along with the at-the-time Japanese exclusive Super Mario Bros 2: The Lost Levels.
This new collection will also include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine AND the Super Mario Galaxy games.
This is HUGE news for any Nintendo fan, whether they grew up on these games or never got the chance to try them out. Especially Super Mario 64, as the only two ways to play the game currently (N64 & NDS) are far from perfect.
The rumour mill isn't done churning out good news just yet, though.
The Nintendo Switch's 2020 is also set to include both a new, more traditional instalment in the Paper Mario franchise, as well as a Deluxe edition of Super Mario 3D World from the Wii U.
That is a LOT of games.
There's been suspicion over whether or not Nintendo plans on releasing Mario's entire back-catalog, but this still remains up in the air.
These reveals were all scheduled to coincide at E3 with the reveal of the new Super Mario World theme park, but due to the current pandemic coursing throughout the world, plans have changed. When approached for a comment, Nintendo simply claimed they "do not comment on rumor or speculation".
