Mark Hamil Is 'A Dirty Liar' & Will Voice The Joker After BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY

Rocksteady's narrative developer Paul Crocker suggests that Hamil isn't done with The Clown Prince of Crime just yet.

A couple days ago Star Wars veteran Mark Hamil announced he was retiring his famous Joker voice now that he had completed work on Batman: Arkham City. He tweeted his final goodbye:
"Hello/Goodbye Joker! I've enjoyed every minute behind the wheel of the Crown Prince's crazy car- I'm going to miss him more than I can say!!".
This was devastating news to all us Batman fans who remember Mark Hamil as possibly the greatest version of the Joker in the Batman the Animated Series and that has carried over so well to the two great Batman video games Batman: Arkham Asylum and the newly released Batman: Arkham City. However, there is fresh hope (or 'A New Hope' if we are going for a Star Wars reference) that The Joker will rise again. According to Rocksteady's narrative developer Paul Crocker, Mark Hamil is a "dirty liar" and he will most likely return as the Joker in the future, likely for the Batman: Arkham City sequel. Crocker's official statement:
"There are two things about Mark Hamil you need to know; one is that he€™s a dirty liar. In all honestly, I€™ve done all the with him for years, and he€™s never, to the best of my knowledge, actually said, €˜I don€™t want to do this anymore€™. That€™s just got blown out of proportion."
So there is hope that Mark Hamil will return as The Joker in the future and long may he continue voicing The Clown Prince of Crime!
