10. Blackheart

Kicking thing off with a slightly more obscure pick, we've got Blackheart. 

Primarily known as one of Ghost Rider's most fearsome foes, Blackheart is the spawn of Mephisto, the Marvel universe's equivalent of Satan. He created Blackheart from an immense amount of evil energy that was brought about by centuries of murder in the town Christ's Crown, making his spawn a monster made of true darkness. 

Whilst he's typically relegated to sporadic appearances in the comic book world, Blackheart has also been featured in a few of Capcom's earlier Marvel brawlers, being a playable character in both Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel Vs Capcom 2: Age of New Heroes. 

Blackheart was never considered to be a top-tier character but his array of devastating AOE attacks coupled with his projectile dodging dash makes him a formidable opponent in the right player's hands. Should he be given the Arc System Works make-over, there's no doubt that Blackheart could be one of the most visually striking and downright interesting characters to play. 

Expanding on his abilities to create screen-covering blast attacks and his ability to duck-and-weave through both projectiles  would give him a certain edge over many other combatants.
