21. Psylocke

Psylocke is an immediately striking addition to the roster, with her purple energy blades and colourful magic attacks being as vibrant and stylish as her costume.

Fortunately, she has the combat might to back up this aesthetic, and going from a light-attack combo straight into an energy-sword thrust is as satisfying as it looks, while her explosive energy beams give you the opportunity to maintain control of the flow of combat.

Psylocke only just beats out Storm because she's a touch more reliable at close-quarters, and doesn't rely so heavily on special abilities to get by.
