Marvel's Avengers: 10 Heroes The Game MUST Include
10. Hawkeye
Poor old Clint Barton might be the butt of all the jokes when it comes to the MCU, but comics fans know he's a brilliant character.
Introduced in the 1960s initially as a villain, Hawkeye soon joined the Avengers and adopted a pivotal role on the team. He's been on and off it over the years, and even founded the West Coast Avengers in the comics, which is set to be a pivotal event in Crystal Dynamics' game too.
The first glimpse of Avengers was met with plenty of fans asking the now familiar question of "Where's Hawkeye?" but thankfully it seems as though Marvel are listening. Marvel Games VP Bill Rosemann tweeted out on Tuesday that Hawkeye fans should "stay tuned", with the implication being that the character is due to join the roster sooner, rather than later.
Both narratively speaking and gameplay-wise, Clint is a bit of a no-brainer. He's a key member of the team, has starred in some of Marvel's greatest comics and has a skill-set fit to compliment his teammates in a given Avengers title.
Factor in the possibility of launching characters like Ant-Man from his arrows, and you have a unique hero who would compliment Avengers' gameplay and its story.
