11. Captain America And Falcon

One of the most iconic partnerships in Marvel history (and one rumoured to be making an appearance in post-launch content for Marvel's Avengers), Captain America and Falcon have been kicking butt together since the late sixties.

While Steve Rogers is very much a lead character in the title, Sam Wilson has to settle for a quick reference in the game's intro - although one that lends further weight to the idea that he'll be introduced as his own fully fledged character in due course.

While exploring the arcade cabinets right at the beginning, players should be able to spy one that spotlights Captain America & Falcon, confirming that the latter also exists in the game's universe.
