Why oh why, did Bioware get Natalie Dormer in to play a character that is fundamentally in the background?

It feels like they wanted you to have a somewhat familiar face when awaking in Andromeda, but Lexi doesn't have a whole lot to her other than "The job comes first"/"Take your vitamins!"/"Stop putting yourself in danger because I'm your doctor!" to round out her interactions.

Still, being Dormer's elegant pipes are backing her up, at least Lexi's voice acting and presence on the ship is strong. She's a confident character with an opinion on every major event in the game, and Bioware including a clash between fellow Asari, Peebee, over the two's contrasting approaches to business and pleasure was a stroke of genius.
