Y'know how everyone criticises Marvel for not being able to write good villains? Somehow Bioware thought they should copy, as The Archon is as cookie-cutter and bland as it gets.

He's Apocalypse from the last X-Men movie, Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy or Nero from 2009's Star Trek reboot. Which is to say, he's evil for evil's sake, loves to monologue, and has an entire 'purpose' revolving around spouting the most overblown sinister statements possible.

The final duel with him goes on for so long too, you'll grow incredibly tired of everything Bioware recorded for him to throw your way. Yes, sure, we're "all going to BURN"... man, wake me up when they patch in some motive.
