2. Urdnot Wrex

This is a guy you do not ever want to mess with. Difficult to work with and with a notoriously prickly personality, Wrex is also one of the best characters in the series. Even though he's technically a mercenary, he wants what's best for the Krogan in a time of total uncertainty - and his quest to cure the genophage ends up being one of the most intense mission sets in ME3.

Mass Effect just isn't the same without Wrex. If you didn't manage to save him on Virmire (a memorable moment in and of itself) - you really should restart, because you're missing out on so much.

His speech on Earth just before the final mission makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up - that's just how intense it is. And for a Krogan, he can be very sentimental - his words to Shepard about how he is a champion of the Krogan, and how his name will mean "hero" to all newborns, show just how much respect he has for the Commander.

There's only one word to describe Wrex - legendary.
