16. Jacob Taylor

Jacob is the first squad member that you get in ME2, and usually the first one that gets replaced when a more interesting one comes along. He's a Biotic, which are pretty good in combat, but Jacob's powers don't come close to the other Biotics around.

His character is just kind of forgettable too - his backstory isn't particularly interesting, and whilst you do feel a bit sorry for him because of the situation with his father, it's definitely not one of the better told nor more iconic loyalty missions.

To top it off, because his character is a bit boring, he rarely gets to take part in the more memorable missions in ME2 - and that means he just fades into the background. Sorry Jacob, but you should probably stay on the ship.
