Skullface apparently gets close to completing his plan for propagating the vocal chord-destroying parasite, but he is stopped by "The Third Child" (that's Psycho Mantis) after Mantis becomes disturbed by Eli's presence in a helicopter. Skullface ends up crushed by the new Metal Gear machine, and though Big Boss and Kaz conclude that he can be left to die slowly, Huey Emmerich (Otacon's father) doesn't much care for the idea and kills him himself. It sure sounds like Otacon's dad isn't quite the wimp that his son turned out to be...
