Mortal Kombat 10: 10 Things We Want To See

5. Kreate-A-Kombatant

In MK: Armageddon, fans were given the option of creating their own kombatant to utilise in Ladder Mode of the game. Creating was fun, but movesets were slightly limited and you had to create your own text-based ending; also in the challenge screen, the character was represented by a render of a jigsaw-faced model. Soul Calibur has implemented their own create-a-fighter and have done well in doing so, surely Mortal Kombat could do the same again if enough time and attention were placed on it? With the game returning back to its roots of side-scrolling fighting, perhaps it would be easier this go-around showing a Kreated Kombatant? With the latest technology the in-game renders on the menu screen could be actual renders of the character, just like in the WWE franchise from Take-Two, and abilities and specials from all in-game kombatants could be included as potential options for a custom moveset instead of being restricted to replicating a character's fighting style, which was the case in Armageddon.
