Mortal Kombat 11: Every Playable Fighter Confirmed So Far
9. Shao Kahn
Up first is Shao Kahn, not because he's worse than the other fighters on this list or because I'm still annoyed at how cheap he was to beat in MK 9 (though, for the record, I am) but because - like Goro before him - WB are locking the character behind a pre-order paywall.
That's a bit of a shame, especially considering the character was left out of the previous title, meaning some fans may go an entire console generation without the pleasure of pummelling opponents as Kahn.
Still, the warlord has received a pretty badass makeover, donning new, more regal attire, which somehow makes him look even more imposing than the literal skull he used to wear as headgear. Despite the shine, he's still terrifying, of course, and the look perfectly reflects his intimidating stature.
It's just a little shame fans will have to pay extra to play as him when the game ships.
