Mortal Kombat 11: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

19. Jacqui Briggs

Speaking of Jacqui, besides the neat mention of her dating Kenshi's son, Takeda in her arcade ladder ending, Jacqui is every bit the powerhouse we'd expect from a daughter of Jax Briggs.

Like Cassie, she comes with very easily memorisable left/right punch combos and deployable gadgets keeping foes at bay or in the air for followups, but where Jacqui excels as a character is through MK 11's story. Her main role in the campaign semi-mimics that of Cassie and Johnny coming together last time around, fleshing out her personality by letting her hang with a younger, time-plucked version of father, Jax.

Not to mention, her arcade ending is a surprisingly emotional tear-jerker, centred on making one ultimate sacrifice for the greater good of saving older Jax's waning mental health. It's one hell of a swerve I didn't see coming, and made Jacqui a powerful character in-keeping with such a robust moveset.
