13. Cassie Cage - I Heart You

Continuing on from the infamous selfie fatality, Cassie Cage has another great millennial wink here.

As you can probably guess from the title, Cassie takes the use of emojis to a whole new level by literally creating a heart in her opponent's body.

It's not quite as inventive as the selfie fatality, but that was pretty much the best Mortal Kombat X had to offer so a slight downgrade is still really good.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but when has that ever got in the way of Mortal Kombat having a good time?
